Personal Profile

So, who is this Mr. Marcotte guy? What's his deal?  I'll tell you.  I am a teacher of kids, and I happen to teach music. I have degrees in Voice Performance, Trumpet, Music Education, and a Masters in Musicology.

I have been teaching music for twenty years. I was the Music Director of the Bristol Renaissance Faire for 17 years, and continue to perform there as "Dan the Bard." I have 11 CD recordings and a small but very distinct fan base!

I play all of the band instruments, also violin, guitar, piano, lute, and bagpipes.
